Nielsen $10,000 Sweepstakes

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, RULE OR REGULATION.
For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, The Nielsen Company (US), LLC (“Nielsen” or “Sponsor”) is providing entries into a $10,000 Sweepstakes to users who enroll in Nielsen’s RewardTV panel.

The Nielsen $10,000 Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on Friday, February 1, 2013 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who meet the minimum age requirement applicable to RewardTV of thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of Sweepstakes registration. Employees, officers and directors of Nielsen, its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and persons living in the same households as such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.

BY PARTICIPATING, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND TO THE DECISIONS OF THE SPONSOR WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL RESPECTS. ALL DATA REQUESTED AT REGISTRATION, PRIZE FULFILLMENT OR AT ANY OTHER TIME IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES MUST BE ACCURATE. IF INACCURATE INFORMATION IS SUPPLIED, IT WILL RESULT IN YOUR DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE SWEEPSTAKES AND PREVENT THE AWARDING OF ANY PRIZE YOU MAY HAVE WON.

2. HOW TO ENTER. To enter, register with RewardTV, complete at least 2 TV trivia games, and claim your Sweepstakes entry. You will receive an email from RewardTV confirming your entry to the Sweepstakes.

You may also enter by going directly to http://www.rewardtv.com and following the instructions for registering. Enter the correct information in all required fields and click on the "Join" button. After you click on the "Join" button, a special message from RewardTV will be sent to the email account under which you have registered. Click on the link contained in the message to verify your email address. You must complete this verification process in order to be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Once you have completed the verification process or signed in to the Site, click on the "Primetime" button at the top of the homepage. On the "Primetime" page, under the Show Schedule click on a RewardTV Trivia Game. Once you have clicked on the game, follow the instructions for earning points ("Points") as described in the Official Rules of the Rewards Program (http://www.rewardtv.com/help/rules.sdo)

RewardTV member (“Member”) will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes during any given day of the Sweepstakes in which a Member completes at least one (1) RewardTV Trivia Game, regardless of the number of Points earned. Additionally, a Member will earn a one-time only second entry upon completing his/her second ever RewardTV Trivia Game. Existing RewardTV Members are eligible for the second entry provided they have played one (1) RewardTV Trivia Game prior to the Sweepstakes Period, and will receive the 2nd bonus entry when they complete their second RewardTV Trivia Game during the Sweepstakes Period.

RewardTV Members will be limited to one (1) entry per entrant per day, except for the one-time "second game bonus," for a potential maximum total of ninety two (92) entries per entrant for the entire Sweepstakes.

Any attempt by a person to enter more than once with multiple e-mail accounts for a single individual will result in disqualification at the discretion of the judges during the prize winner verification process.

All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical/other error in printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or announcement of the Prize.

3. PRIZE (1).

One (1) winner will be able to choose a check for $10,000 or a prize package (with details to be determined by Sponsor) worth $10,000. ARV of prize: $10,000. Restrictions and blackout dates might apply to prize package. Winner will be responsible for all expenses not specifically included herein.

Proof of online entry does not constitute proof of delivery. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of sign-in. In the event of a dispute, entrant must provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry in question. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entry forms must be individually completed and no automated entries will be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical/other error in printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or announcement of the Prize. If a winner is under the age of eighteen (18), prize may be awarded, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian. Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash by winner. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION.

The Prize Drawing will take place on or about May 10, 2013. One (1) winner will be selected in an electronic random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. All online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on April 31, 2013. Interpretation of these Official Rules and decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes will occur by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning the Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.

The potential winner will receive prize notification via electronic mail on or about May 10, 2013 and will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days from prize notification. If the winner is under the age of eighteen (18), the prize may be awarded to winner's parent or legal guardian and the parent or legal guardian may be required, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, to sign the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release.

If the potential winner cannot be contacted; is ineligible; fails to return upon request, or his/her parent or legal guardian fails to return upon request, the completed and executed affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within fourteen (14) days; fails to claim the Prize; if the prize notification is returned undeliverable or if the potential winner otherwise fails to fully comply with these Official Rules, an alternate potential winner will be determined through a random drawing from among remaining eligible entries. Prize will be awarded within ten (10) to twelve (12) weeks after potential winner satisfies all Sweepstakes requirements.

Acceptance of the Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its affiliates to use winner's name, likeness, hometown and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

5. GENERAL RELEASE/CONDITIONAL LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE AND HOLD HARMLESS NIELSEN, AND ITS RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, RETAILERS, AGENCIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND ALL OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY AND/OR DAMAGES, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, WHICH MAY BE DUE TO OR ARISE OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PORTION THEREOF, OR THE ACCEPTANCE, USE/MISUSE OR POSSESSION OF PRIZES. NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, IN THE EVENT THAT THE PRECEDING RELEASE IS DETERMINED BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION TO BE INVALID OR VOID FOR ANY REASON, THE ENTRANT AGREES THAT, BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, (I) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZES AWARDED, SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (II) ANY CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED, INCLUDING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, BUT IN NO EVENT ATTORNEY’S FEES; AND (III) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO CLAIM, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES AND ANY AND ALL RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED AND ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN DAMAGES FOR ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES.

6. DISQUALIFICATION.

Entries generated by facsimile, script, macro or other automated means, that have been tampered with or altered, or that are stolen, postage due, misdirected, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions or mail courier, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, corrupted, lost, late or damaged, are all void and will not be accepted. All entries must be individually completed and no automated entries, mass entries, reproductions or photocopied entries will be accepted. Sponsor, participating prize partners, service providers and any telephone network are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the Prize using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Sweepstakes is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at http://www.rewardtv.com. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of or abuses any aspect of this Sweepstakes or violates the Official Rules of this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7. PRIVACY.

Personally identifiable information provided by entrants will be used only in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy in effect at the time, at http://rewardtv.com/help/privacy.sdo.

8. TAX INFORMATION.

All federal, state, local, and other taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner.

9. GENERAL.

This Sweepstakes is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning), and any and all disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in the State of New York, exclusively, and subject to the laws of the State of New York. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of New York and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of New York.

10. REMOVAL FROM MAILING LIST.

To prevent Sponsor from mailing you information regarding future Sweepstakes or promotions being conducted by Sponsor, send a written removal request, specifying the name and email address you are requesting to have removed from the mailing list, to Nielsen Panel Sweepstakes, Nielsen Call Center, 501 Brooker Creek Blvd, Oldsmar, FL 34677.

11. WINNERS LIST.

To receive the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Nielsen Panel Sweepstakes, 501 Brooker Creek Blvd, Oldsmar, FL 34677. Please specify the name and date of the Sweepstakes.
